Sunday Splash!

This was one great day! Words simply fail me as I think about everything that happened at Sunset Chapel today. It was probably one of the best days we have had in quite some time. Everyone worked so hard and God used all that effort in a major way. Special thanks to Louis Teijeiro, Joe Leyva, Michael Quinn and John Kricker for assisting with the red carpet setup this morning. Thanks also to Yan Leake for arranging for the limousine to be with us today! It really set the the atmosphere for all of our guests to feel like VIP'S!! Also I want to give props to Oscar and Michael Fernandez for stepping in and helping with our sound and media today. Great job guys!

We had tons of guests today! We also recorded a new high in attendance! Way to go SC folks! Keep it up and keep inviting everyone you know! If you have any remaining invite cards be sure to take the opportunity this coming week to give one to a friend and ask them to join with us next week. I want to encourage those of you who are praying and fasting with us during the month of September to keep it up! Pray like crazy! God is moving! Pray that the Lord continues to work powerfully here at Sunset Chapel. I think that SC is the best kept secret in Miami. We are about to change that!!!! Look for pics from today's service to be posted later!

I am more grateful and ecstatic than words can express. If the response and energy of our people this morning are an indication of what's in store for us at Sunset Chapel in the future, things could really become interesting for us. I could barely sleep last night as my mind was racing and the butterflies were beginning to multiply! I was just too excited to sleep. Today was the kick off to our new teaching series "God's VIP Club". I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the next two weeks as we continue our series. Today's church experience caused us to reflect as we drove away from our church campus "this place has it!". As the Holy Spirit shows up each week, everything is changing. People are being changed. Marriages are being changed. The church is being changed!

Let me encourage everyone to consider joining us this Wednesday at 7 pm for our mid-week Prayer Meeting. You can fuel your spiritual growth by attending on a regular basis! Become internally strong and outwardly focused!
